The Pick or Knot is a very versatile tool.  One end is blunted and my favorite tool for “unstitching”. The blunt tip allows for safe removal of unwanted stitches, no chance of creating a hole in your quilt top. I  use the Pick or Knot to help create very small thread knots to pull into the quilt sandwich, perfect tie offs, nothing shows. Perfect companion purchase with the Sench™ side threading needles.  The blunt end can be used as a stiletto when piecing. The other end has a  small hook designed to slip between the fibers of your top, in order to remove “pesky colored” threads that might have gotten caught during the quilt sandwiching process.
